Mission Statement
Here at SWAY Locations, we have recently made an extended commitment to invest in systems that will help reduce the impact on our environment. By providing zero waste solutions, energy efficient technologies and pathways towards sustainability for all our clients. To name but a few. After all, our work may be temporary, but our planet is not.

Why are we doing this?
The film industry in the UK is extremely good at imagining, forming, and building brand new worlds - before packing up and moving onto the next project. However, this creative process can often be to the detriment to the ground beneath our feet and the surrounding environment, and it’s fair to say that we have all been leaving a ‘mark’ for some time now. Times are changing and so are we.

Steps towards a solution
We have recently completed an audit of all our services and systems at SWAY, with a view to ensuring that everything we do has a zero or minimal impact on the environment. This includes Carbon Neutral accreditation from ALBERT, the home of sustainability for the UK’s film and TV industry.

Helping you to build a greener production
From providing generators with smart battery store technology and hybrid-fuel systems through to recyclable consumables such as toilet paper and hand towels, we really do cover all bases. Our waste management systems are fully monitored, with waste separated at transfer stations and eco-pods on site to reduce mileage and traffic and we receive regular reports on emissions to ensure safety and compliance.

Continuing with the journey
This, of course, is an ever-evolving process and we have placed a solid commitment towards innovation, to make sure that we are continually working towards a better future. This also includes investment in our staff and training. There is a lot to be done, but here at SWAY, we are more than ready to face the challenge.
